Key rules to be followed in any interview to ensure success

Key rules to be followed in any interview to ensure success

1.Find out everything you can about the company you are going to working for.
You can get this from their website. Learn about everything from their customers
to their mission and vision statement. Find out their goals and include
your goals into that.

2.Go through the job nature thoroughly. Highlight your own strengths and try to
correlate it in some way related to the position you are applying. Say about your
previous job where you successfully completed some objectives which are going
to be in your new job.

3.Make sure you dress professionally, but do not dress in such a way it appears
as show off.

4.Ensure you reach the venue early, so that there is plenty of time to fill out
the application forms. See that you arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the
scheduled time.

5.Wish your interviewer with a pleasant smile and maintain rapport with the interviewer
throughout the progress of the interview. Be cool at the same time with full energy.

6.Express real interest to meet the people in the new job and the responsibilities
you are going to undertake.

7.Most jobs need analytical skills and the ability to cope up pressure. Try talking
about a particular problem you faced in your previous job and how you solved it.

8.Decide before some questions to ask at the end of the interview. Let the interview
process get over and then wait for the interviewer to ask you if you have got any
questions.

9.In an interview, if you are asked something that makes you feel uncomfortable,
politely ask them why they would like to know that. Employers have got no rights
to ask any question that are too personal or would embarrass the candidate in any way.

10.Main thing that people often forget is to make sure they follow up after the
interview. A short thank you from the depth of your heart can help to keep your
name at the top candidates list for the job.
